This is a large and beautiful Lladro porcelain figure Stormy Weather in a matte finish with a wooden separate base. The figure is of a shirtless sailor on the deck of a boat with a large colorful steering wheel. He has a pendant around his neck, with a stocking cap and faded trousers. The barefoot seaman stands on a board deck. The figure was first issued in 1982 and was sculpted by Salvador Funo. Lladro "Stormy Sea" #3554, Spanish name "Piloto de Altura," designed in 1982 by sculptor Salvador Furio, and made in Spain. A Gres figurine, mint condition, with separate base, no original box. Measures about 22" high and about 16" wide and 6" deep. Bottom of figurine (pic 8) shows Lladro authentic mark (white marks above it from removal of price tag years ago). Pic 4 shows small nick on an edge of the separate base that came with the figure. Lovingly cared for by only one previous owner. Priced to sell quickly.

This is for a Rare Vintage Retired Lladro "Stormy Sea" Sailor Statue Figurine #3554 crafted in Spain. The figurine is in mint condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. He is 20 3/4" tall. The base of the figurine is 14 1/4 x 6 1/2 inches. I am also sending the separate wooden display base shown in the last pic. There are some scuffs on top from the piece being set on it.
